"The “let them eat cake” phrase is synonymous with someone of privilege being completely out of touch with the needs of others, largely those who are less privileged."
World Poverty Statistics 2024
"Facing the harsh reality of extreme poverty, over 700 million individuals globally survive on under $1.90 per day, a crisis that disproportionately affects children."

Noviqt face na Balgariq (Bulgaria's new face)
Taking popular patriotic phrases out of their original context and placing them in another semantic environment, in which they acquire a rather negative or radicalizing character, is a phenomenon that we observe more and more often in the socio-political plan, applied mostly by extreme right-wing political forces or similar youth factions. Patriotism in Bulgaria is increasingly becoming synonymous with the extreme right-wing ideology of nationalism, which, well padded with various manipulative methods, creates aggressive divisions in society, forcibly differentiating one social structure from another. The use and paraphrasing of words, whose initial emotional and meaningful charge had a unifying and national identification motif, turns them into an instrument of violence, with which the mass Bulgarian identifies out of lack of understanding of history and the meaning of patriotism in a local and global aspect. At the same time, despite the broad nationalist (and why not patriotic?) sentiments in Bulgaria, the level of functional literacy in the country is significantly decreasing, which in itself is a key prerequisite for the smooth spread of the ideology of nationalism among the young population (especially among minors ). Thus, it is not only possible to distort the semantic content of certain words and apropos ideas, but also their quite eclectic use in everyday life and in social networks, such as the popular "crossbreeds" of the phrases Kleta Majka Balgariq and Svoboda ili smart.

400 million tons of plastic waste are being produced by us every year. Approximately 36 percent of all plastics produced are used in packaging ( including single-use plastic products), 85 percent of which ends up in landfills or as unregulated waste. Plastic persist in the environment for centuries, longer than any artwork could survive without human intervention.
Most plastic items never really disappear.*

The rate of climate change since the mid-20th century is unprecedented over millennia - the current warming is happening at a rate not seen in the past 10,000 years. Global temperature has risen about 1 degrees Celsius since the late 19-th century, a change driven largely by human activities and increased carbon dioxide emissions. The ocean is getting warmer, the ice sheets are shrinking, snow cover is retreating, sea level is rising, extreme events are increasing in frequency.*
